On June 16, 1985 the church voted to extend a call to Pastor Morgan Angliss to serve as the first full time pastor. He, his wife, Gloria, and their youngest son, Tim, came from DeMotte, Indiana in August of 1985. That same month the Zion Wakefield Chapel was purchased, along with the parsonage and 6 acres of land on land contract. As part of God’s divine plan, the owners gave the church a deed and possession immediately with the signing of a Promissory Note.
