In August of 2002 Pastor Chris Cobb joined us at BFC. He brought with him his wife, Doris, and children, Joshua, Danielle and Laurielle. Pastor Cobb is a graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, and had been serving as their Director of Information Technology when he accepted the call to BFC.  Pastor Chris currently serves as the Pastor of Teaching.

Not long after the Cobb's arrival, Dr. Robert Kensinger, a long-time member of BFC, felt the call to ministry, and left his medical practice in Ansonia to attend seminary in California. After receiving a Master of Divinity degree from the Master's Seminary in May of 2007, Dr. Kensinger accepted a pastoral call to BFC and returned to Greenville with his wife, Sherry, and children, Daniel, Jackie, and Caleb. He serves BFC as the Pastor of Family Ministries, in addition to his medical work with Family Health of Greenville.

In 2007, the church board completed study on biblical leadership and led the church in the adoption of a multiple-elder leadership model.

In 2008-2009 the members of BFC approved a major remodeling project. A picnic pavilion and a storage building was built, the restrooms were enlarged, the nursery was relocated, and the technology in the office, classrooms, and auditorium was upgraded. Additional changes were made to the Welcome Center and the office area.

In 2009, Scott Gruber, who was raised at BFC, was invited to serve the church as a ministry intern. Scott and his wife Andrea are graduates of Cedarville University. Scott's responsibilities include Youth, and assisting Pastor Robb with Worship.
